Nationwide Shortage of HRT Formulations

There is a nationwide shortage of a number of HRT formulations. We are monitoring the situation on the main suppliers live tracker but understandably we have NO CONTROL WHATSOEVER on the stock held by individual pharmacies.

In the first instance, we can advise patients to try a number of different pharmacies with their prescription. If patients are unable to find the HRT that has been prescribed to them we will try to prescribe a suitable alternative but sadly, we cannot guarantee that the alternative is going to be available. We always endeavour to help patients as quickly as we can but please understand it is unrealistic to suggest we can turn around these alternative requests on the same day.

Thank you for your understanding and hopefully this shortage will be short term.

Extended Access Hub

We have been running the Extended Access Hub for some months now but the survey also made it clear that the Hub information had not got to all of our patients.  We are now offering appointments in collaboration with other Chichester surgeries if patients meet the criteria ... more information please click here. If you would like directions to any of the Hub clinics please click here.
