About the Practice

Southbourne Surgery is a group of five doctors - three male and two female, working as a general partnership; known as Dr Chadwick and Partners. In addition, we also employ 1 female part time doctor. The partnership cares for around 8,900 patients.

The practice has been approved for GP student training. Each year one or more fully qualified doctors with experience in hospital medicine may spend time with the practice as part of their preparation to become general practitioners. They share all aspects of patient care and the partners welcome their contribution to the team. Occasionally, medical students, district nurses in training and student community midwives may also spend time with the practice.

Wheelchair and disabled access is available via the main entrance. We also have a disabled toilet with baby changing facilities.
